It’s that time of year again: The Medicare Annual Enrollment Period. This may be the only time for you to sign up for or change your Medicare coverage for the upcoming year. Whatever coverage choices you make during the Annual Enrollment Period – also sometimes referred to as the Annual Election Period – are not permanent! You will have opportunities to change your coverage every year or if you experience certain qualifying life events.
While there is still time left for you to enroll or switch plans, it may be a good idea to make the switch sooner rather than later. The last thing you want to do is find that your coverage is not suited for your health needs well past the December 7th deadline!
